Pacesetters Christian University Holds Inaugural Board of Advisors Meeting.

Visionary Leaders Convene to Strengthen Institutional Governance and Advance the University’s Global Mission.

Houston, TX — September 28, 2025 — Pacesetters Christian University (PCU) has taken another significant step in strengthening its leadership and governance framework by hosting its first-ever Board of Advisors Meeting on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

The meeting, chaired by Apostle (Dr.) Sam Jullius, President and Chairman of the Board of Regents, marked a historic milestone in the institution’s ongoing pursuit of academic excellence, spiritual depth, and global impact. In attendance were members of the Board of Directors and the newly inaugurated Board of Advisors—a distinguished group of seasoned professionals and faith-driven leaders with proven records of excellence in ministry, education, leadership, and humanitarian service.

In his opening address, Apostle (Dr.) Jullius shared the vision, mission, objectives, and core values of PCU, emphasizing the university’s commitment to raising transformational leaders for Kingdom influence and societal transformation. He outlined the strategic roles of the advisory board and invited members to contribute their insights toward strengthening the institution’s structure, systems, and sustainability.

The meeting served as a platform for collaborative dialogue, where advisors shared perspectives on expanding PCU’s global reach, advancing academic programs, and deepening its impact within the Christian higher education landscape.

Among those present were:

Dr. Miriam Martins – A servant-leader whose life and ministry reflect an unwavering devotion to God’s call to serve, lead, and equip His people. An anointed preacher and teacher of the Word, Dr. Martins carries a passion to see believers live with divine purpose, pursue excellence in every area of life, and advance the Kingdom of God in their homes, communities, and spheres of influence.

Dr. Loretta Mbadugha, PhD – A trailblazer in leadership, education, and community empowerment, Dr. Mbadugha has distinguished herself over three decades as a visionary leader and advocate for transformative education. Her extensive career spans leadership in higher education, non-profit management, and government service. Known for her strategic foresight and compassion, she has revitalized organizations, strengthened operations, and pioneered sustainable programs that continue to impact lives.

Apostle (Dr.) Carlton Bowen – With over 30 years in ministry, Apostle Bowen has faithfully served the Lord with passion, humility, and vision. A native of Montego Bay, Jamaica, his journey from teaching Sunday school to international ministry leadership reflects his deep commitment to discipleship and service. His leadership continues to inspire growth, unity, and excellence in ministry.

Prophetess (Dr.) Christine Bowen – A dynamic servant-leader, author, and counselor, Prophetess Bowen serves as Co-Pastor of Immanuel Temple of Praise Ministries International in Houston, Texas, alongside her husband, Apostle Bowen. A lifelong learner and prophetic voice, she empowers individuals, especially women, to overcome pain and live in the fullness of God’s love. She is also a bestselling author and founder of Kingdom Publishing Services and Love Beyond Love Spiritual Counseling & Coaching Services.

Dr. Sotonye Briggs – A respected pastor, physician, philanthropist, author, and mentor, Dr. Briggs exemplifies excellence in ministry and service. As President of the Briggs Foundation, he integrates faith with compassion-driven initiatives that transform lives and communities. His teaching emphasizes the fullness of Christ’s love—proclaiming the gospel with clarity, integrity, and impact.

Rev’d Bassey – The Setman and Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Bible Church International, Eleweran, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. An accountant turned minister of the Gospel, Rev’d Bassey is an ordained servant of God whose life reflects unwavering faith, humility, and dedication to Kingdom advancement. A firebrand prayer warrior and compassionate shepherd, he is deeply committed to raising disciples and equipping believers with the undiluted Word of God. Widely regarded as a great teacher with profound prophetic insight, his ministry brings illumination, healing, and direction to many. As a pastor to pastors and mentor, he exemplifies humility in leadership while inspiring others to fulfill their God-given mandates.

Together, these distinguished leaders bring wisdom, experience, and spiritual depth to the PCU Advisory Board, guiding the institution in shaping its next phase of growth and global influence.

In his closing remarks, Apostle (Dr.) Sam Jullius expressed deep gratitude to the members of the Board of Advisors and the attending board of directors for accepting the call to serve and for their willingness to contribute their wealth of knowledge and experience to the growth of the university. He reaffirmed that the establishment of the Board marks “a new chapter of visionary collaboration and purposeful leadership” in Pacesetters Christian University’s journey.
