Pacesetters Christian University Announces 2025 Pacesetters Community Impact Award (PACIA)

Houston, Texas — [10/09/2025] — Pacesetters Christian University (PCU) proudly announces the establishment of the Pacesetters Community Impact Award (PACIA), a distinguished new honor recognizing individuals who are transforming lives through service, leadership, and faith in action.

Created in alignment with the university’s mission to integrate faith, learning, and service, the PACIA seeks to celebrate and inspire those who embody the spirit of community transformation. The award affirms PCU’s commitment to producing graduates and citizens who are not only intellectually equipped but also spiritually grounded and socially engaged.

“At Pacesetters Christian University, we believe that leadership is not measured merely by titles or achievements, but by the lives we touch and the hope we build,” said Apostle (Dr.) Sam Jullius, the President, PCU. “The Pacesetters Community Impact Award reflects our vision of faith in action,  honoring those who make a real difference where it matters most: in their communities.”

Purpose & Vision

The PACIA recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, compassion, and innovation in addressing community challenges. From grassroots volunteers and nonprofit leaders to social entrepreneurs and public servants, the award highlights those whose impact strengthens the moral and social fabric of society.

Through this initiative, PCU aims to foster a culture of service-minded leadership among students, faculty, alumni, and community members, inspiring others to become agents of change guided by Christian values and integrity.

Eligibility & Criteria

Nominees for the Pacesetters Community Impact Award may come from any walk of life. Eligible nominees include community leaders, faith-based advocates, educators, entrepreneurs, or public servants who demonstrate one or more of the following:

1. Impact: Measurable or visible positive change in their community,  social, economic, environmental, educational, or spiritual.
2. Sustainability: A record or clear plan for continued, long-term benefit.
3. Innovation: Creative or effective approaches to solving community challenges.
4. Character: Integrity, compassion, humility, and consistency with Christian principles.
5. Leadership & Collaboration: The ability to mobilize others and foster partnerships for community betterment. Nominations are open to members of the wider community, including PCU alumni, partners, and friends of the university. Award Presentation:
   The PACIA recipient will be formally honored during our 2025 Commencement, Graduation, Honorary, Community Impact, and Lifetime Award Ceremony, scheduled for:📅 Date: Saturday, December 20, 2025
